Richard A. Flygare, PA-C, Ph.D
Richard A. Flygare, PA-C, Ph.D, joined the professional staff of North Idaho Dermatology in September 2000, making him the longest-serving member of our clinical staff.
Richard received his Bachelor of Science degree in health sciences from Brigham Young University and his Master’s in clinical medicine from the University of Iowa College of Medicine. He completed his doctorate in health sciences at Touro University International in September 2008. Rich is a diplomate of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants/Associates and serves on the editorial board of the Journal of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
He focuses on medical dermatology and has a special interest in skin cancer diagnosis, dermoscopy, and contact allergic dermatitis.
He provided full-time dermatology care at Fairchild AFB while serving in the Air Force with the late Dr. Stephen Craig, M.D., our first chief of staff. Richard enjoys spending time with his family, writing, and working on media projects.
