Leilani Townsend, DO

Dr. Leilani Townsend is a Board-Certified Dermatologist who specializes in cosmetic, surgical and medical dermatology.  Dr. Townsend earned a full scholarship to play volleyball at California State University, where she graduated with honors with a biology degree.  She then went on to earn her medical degree at Touro University Nevada, where she graduated with honors and induction into the Sigma Sigma Phi society.  Dr. Townsend completed her dermatology residency at St Joseph Mercy hospital in Ann Arbor Michigan, where she served as the chief resident for her program. 

Dr. Townsend enjoys every aspect of dermatology, and prides herself in holistic, comprehensive care for patients of every age.  She has a special passion for aesthetic dermatology, striving to help patients achieve a natural and beautiful result by continually educating herself on advanced techniques. 

In her spare time, Dr. Townsend spends time baking, exercising, and exploring the outdoors with her husband and three sons.  Although she is new to North Idaho Dermatology, she has over 11 years of experience and is excited to partner with her patients for their dermatologic care.
